About

Moving to New England was always a dream and we finally took the step in August of 1999.  It was meant to be, as everything went so smoothly it almost seemed unreal.  We arrived in this little town not really remembering where exactly the house was – having seen it only once before, months earlier – but finding it and the neighbors and the entire village very friendly.  Adjusting to small-town life has been interesting; this old house has felt like home from the very beginning and right now, anyway, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This blog is meant to be an extension of 2010’s Project 365 but without the requirement of posting something every day (not an easy thing to do!).  I am hopeful that I can write something interesting about where I live – a small village in New Hampshire – and post photos of the area as I continue to play with my cameras.  Feel free to add comments, critiques or anything you feel like …. it gives me a reason to keep posting stuff. Enjoy!

  1. Another great idea ….this should really hi-lite your little corner of the world, knowing the way you cover things. Hey …perhaps this could parlay into an ‘official’ job as the county historian! Go for it Paige. I’m again with you all the way! D

  2. I am excited to be able to share in your life and part of the world through your photos…I so enjoyed each and every one from 2010. I like Dan’s idea! We’re all with you! Happy New Year!

  3. I think I like this even more than your Project 365 because of the stories you will be telling! Although I loved that project and all the beautiful pictures. Thanks for keeping us posted on life in the NE.

  4. More amazing photos! It is beautiful, no matter how cold it may be. I really would like to visit sometime in this weather, just to satisfy my curiosity, but I’m not sure I have enough long underwear for 9 degrees below zero! It sure makes for pretty pictures.
