Some smaller decorations in the house go unnoticed because after awhile they become so familiar they are almost invisible. That’s what happened with these pretty silver snowflakes that I hung in the entry hall last winter. For awhile they looked so cheerful sparkling in the windows, then I kind of forgot about them (even though they’re on either side of the front door). Around last August I finally noticed they were still there, and considered taking them down. But then I thought, oh what the heck – it’s almost winter again – so I left them there.
